Every price is fixed and quoted in writing before work starts
No hourly billing, no expenses added, and where a reviewer is part of the work, the reviewer's fee is inside the price. Prices are in US dollars.

Terms written for a public body or a nonprofit board
Everything a purchasing file usually asks for, in writing.
- Quote
- One page: scope, fixed price, exclusions, who does what, delivery date, payment terms. Valid for 30 days. Addressed to your board or funding program if you want.
- Accepting
- Reply "yes", or send a purchase order that names the quote. Either side may ask for a signed copy of the terms.
- Payment
- Water systems and Illinois units: invoice after delivery, net 30, no deposit. Nonprofit parents: half on acceptance, half on delivery.
- Methods
- ACH bank transfer or check, in US dollars. If your rules require a card, tell us before you order and we confirm in writing whether we can take one.
- Tax form
- We are 1414618 B.C. Ltd., a British Columbia corporation, so US payers get IRS Form W-8BEN-E, the form for foreign entities, instead of a W-9. A signed copy comes with our invoice.
- Vendor forms
- Send your vendor, supplier or conflict-of-interest forms and we complete them.
- Corrections
- Tell us within 10 business days of delivery if anything is wrong or missing and we correct it at no charge.
- Returned filings
- If the regulator returns a filing for a reason inside our work, we fix it free.
- Ending
- Before work starts: either side, by email, full refund. After: you pay for work done up to that day, never more than the quote, and get what is done.
- Liability

Purchasing notes
Small enough for a small budget line
Water systems paying with federal money. State Revolving Fund loans follow state and local purchasing rules; SRF grants follow the federal rules in 2 CFR 200.317 to 200.327, under which a purchase up to the micro-purchase threshold, US$15,000 for awards made after October 1, 2025, needs no competing quotes if the price is reasonable. Illinois units. In most units the board approves bills at a public meeting and the treasurer pays them. Our quote is one page, written to drop straight into the board packet.
Nonprofit parents. Whoever approves the spend, an officer, a committee or the board, gets the scope, the price and the dates on one page.
